Holiday Gift Guide
Need a few gift ideas for others or yourself? Here are some of my favorites for an organized and beautiful home.
Heath Ceramics, Shallow Salad Bowl
One of my most favorite things ever. The perfect bowl for salads and more, it makes everything you put in it look gorgeous. My Heath pieces are some of my most treasured things and (knock on wood) they are very sturdy - none have broken yet and we regularly put them in the dishwasher.

Crate and Barrel, A Coste Optic Coupe Glass
Jay just picked up these beautiful martini glasses from Crate and Barrel and they made our Thanksgiving Negronis look perfect. I tend to like very simple (some might even say boring) glassware so the focus is on what is inside, but this glass is the right twist on a basic. Bonus that they are great price too. crateandbarrel.com
Schmidt Brothers, 18” Magnetic Wall Bar
I have had a Schmidt Brothers knife rack for years and guests always wants to know where we got it. In my small kitchen, wall knife storage is a must, but regular magnetic bars can look so industrial. This bar is so pretty and also keeps those knives sharp and safe. crateandbarrel.com
Graf Lantz, Felt Tissue Box Cover
This is my kind of stocking stuffer. Tissue boxes are something that we all have but lack style. Cover them up with these beautiful felt boxes. Bonus that this bright happy color can bring cheer to the common cold. Various colors, food52.com
Cane Basket, Neat Method
All of the bins from the Neat Method are swoon worthy, but this cane basket is gorgeous. I could see it anywhere from a kitchen pantry to a bathroom or closet for scarves and accessories. It would fill it with wine and cookies for a special holiday present. neatmethod.com
Hayes Ceramics, 10” Salad Bowl
Another ceramic bowl on your list Melissa? Yes ma’am, and this one is gorgeous. I have a few pieces of Hayes’ hand thrown pottery and they are lovely. This bowl is the perfect size for a big salad (a la Elaine Benes). I found Stephanie (Hayes’ Owner and Potter) at the Healdsburg Farmer’s Market, but she ships nationally. She also makes stunning planters for your planty friends. hayesceramics.com
